    Quick Navigation : Home > Natural Gas / Petroleum -- Natural Gas / Petroleum Metalore holds controlling interest in over 40,000 acres of mineral (gas and oil) leases and is the leading producer of natural gas from the "Clinton" (lower Silurian, 1,400 feet) formation in Ontario. The company has 84 wells producing from 25 billion cubic feet of natural gas reserves. The bulk of gas is hedged (sold ahead) on NYMEX at forward prices and is also supplied to some 70 Field Line Customers, in conjunction with the area utility (Union Gas Limited).
